1. Very grateful to our 8th graders for bringing in lunches for the homeless!
They decorated the lunch bags "taste-fully" and included encouraging
messages with assurances of our prayers.
2. Grades PreK & K may order nuggets/fries ($3) tomorrow for their lunches
on Friday.
3. We appreciate any families who were able to participate in our OLC Burger
King Drive-Thru this evening. Your support is appreciated! Also,
participating students who bring their BK "family" receipt to their
homeroom teachers, will receive an imprinted $1 raffle ticket to identify
with their name and homeroom (including separate tickets for each
sibling). After all tickets are submitted to the Office, the drawing for
the gift cards will take place. Afterwards, all the dollar tickets will be
saved and given to the students in Grades 1 to 8 to spend on Scholar
Dollar Day at a special Burger King Prize table. (Grades Pre-K & K shop
"Free-ly" on Scholar Dollar Day, but are included in the Gift Card
drawing.)
4. Our FIOS Upgrade will take place tomorrow so our Virtual Classes will be
cancelled and teachers will assign classwork on Google Classroom. (My
8th Grade Religion Class will study the 7 Images of the Church that were
taught today. By the way, this is a great class and some of the virtual
students even sent in lunches for St. Francis Inn!)
