1. Tomorrow, the feast of the Annunciation, has been designated by Pope Francis to have Catholics world-wide consecrate humanity, in particular Russia & the Ukraine, to the
Immaculate Heart of Mary. Our 8th graders will represent the school at the 8 A.M.
Mass and copies of the lengthy (2 sides) but meaningful consecration will be sent
home today and is posted on the school website.
2. Tomorrow will be a Donation-Dress-Down-Day (any amount) for the children who
attend the Archbishop Ryan School for the Deaf/St. Lucy School for the Blind. Your
contributions will be greatly appreciated.
3. Grades 8 & 1 may order hot dogs/chips ($2) tomorrow for their lunches on Monday.
4. Continue prayers for our special intentions especially Annalise Dubeck (8A) who will
have further surgery tomorrow and Maureen Vetter whose funeral Mass will be at
11:00 A.M. tomorrow following the viewing at OLC tonight from 7 to 9 and tomorrow
from 9 to 11 in the Upper Church. Her children are Anthony (6C) Angela (4C) and
Sophia (2A) Martinez.
5. Next week we will be collecting humanitarian items for the Ukraine (not money) that
have been requested by reputable agencies: Baby products, hats, gloves, antiseptics,
bedding, flashlights, painkillers, First Aid kits, bandages, soap, shower gel, shampoo,
conditioner, packaged snacks, canned goods, clothing for men, women, children,
(shirts, pants, socks, etc.) Thank you!
