1. This morning Grades Pre -K3 to Grade 3 were a respectful, attentive, and
appreciative audience as they were absorbed by our guest, Hanna and her
"Animal Tales!" As she related the stories of "Pete the Cat," Charlotte's
Web," and the "Little Critter Series," the children were introduced to a
guinea pig, bird-spider (resembles a Tarantula) 2 cats, 2 ferrets (one
albino) and a hedgehog. Students volunteered to show-case the animals
and they did so carefully and followed Hanna's directives well. It was
impressive to see such a very young group be so aware of what had to be
done not to frighten the animals. 5 Stars & 2 thumbs up for your kiddos!
2. Grades 6 & 3 may bring in orders for nuggets/fries ($2.75) and ice cream
tomorrow for their lunches on Wednesday.
3. Your generous donation of $975.00 will be sent to Catholic Relief Services
for their work in the tornado stricken area of Alabama. They consistently
show up around the world where their services are needed and never ask
"Are you Catholic?" Their website in your Rice Bowl flyer has videos of their
service world-wide.
4. Mrs. O'Neil is requesting volunteers to help with the 3v3 Basketball
Tournament on March 23rd if you are available. TY!
