1. Thank you to those parents who were able to attend the Communion Class
Parent Night yesterday. Please request the packet of information if you
were not able to be there.
2. The "One World Taiko" assembly was a great interactive experience
between both presenters and the students. Taiko is Japanese for drum &
they were certainly in play throughout the assembly with brief breaks for
the students to learn "Thank-You" "Hello" "Goodbye" in Japanese and
the history of the taiko in Japanese culture. When 4 volunteer students at
each assembly received instructions to play their particular drums, the
results were astounding, mainly because the audience was instructed to
clap out the drum routine for their classmates just as they witnessed it
from the performers! You would have been very proud, as were we!
3. Grades 8 & 1 may bring in orders for nuggets/fries ($3) and ice cream
tomorrow for their lunches on Monday.
4. Tomorrow will be a Donation-Dress-Down-Day for Cystic Fibrosis. As
always, a donation of any amount. TY!
5. Science Explorers meet after school today.
6. "Fuel Up to Play 60" mtg. for 8th graders after school today.
