1. Girl Scout Troop 9744 will be collecting used and unwanted crayons for
"The Crayon Initiative" which recycles crayons that will be sterilized and melted to make new crayons for sick children in hospitals. For the next
few months as you are "Spring" cleaning, feel free to send the "misfit"
crayons to school. This initiative is a non-profit organization that
prevents more than 100,000 pounds of crayons going into landfills. They
have helped over 50,00 children in over 90 hospitals across 25 states.
We are glad to cooperate with the Girl Scouts in this kind & caring project!
2. Grades 6 & 3 may bring in orders for pizza ($1.25) and ice cream
