1. Today all students on-site were given a school picture form in case you
need one if you are not ordering on-line. Virtual students who are
quarantined will have their school pictures taken on the make-up date,
January 13th, unless circumstances warrant an alternative date. The
Lifetouch National School Studios, Inc. is willing to accommodate OLC at
this challenging time and we appreciate this consideration. Also, a
reminder that Grades 1 to 4 will have their pictures taken tomorrow in
school (not gym) uniforms, and Grades PreK & K on Wednesday. Virtual
students, not quarantined, may have their pictures taken tomorrow or Wednesday before lunch if that is convenient.
2. Congratulations to the following students who have been awarded
scholarships: Sadie Woods (8B) Presidential Scholarship to Nazareth
Academy $50,000 ($12,500 annually) and First Place Fine Arts Scholarship
to Archbishop Ryan $10,000 ($2,500 annually) Kevin Beck (8B) a
Presidential Scholarship to Archbishop Ryan $24,000 ($6,000 annually)
and the Libermann Scholarship $10,000 ($2,500 annually) to Holy Ghost
Prep and Leo Merrigan (8C) the Vite Mane Scholarship $4,000 ($1,000
annually) to Archbishop Ryan! We commend these students, their loving
and supportive parents, and the teachers who have guided them over the years. Also, we have been invited to a Zoom Webinar Meeting this Friday,
December 4th, at 10:00 A.M. to hear the announcement of the Neumann
Scholarship winners. It may be broadcast to the entire school with a
special link for our virtual students. We have been notified because a
student/s at OLC will be awarded this scholarship and all winners are
confidential to the Connelly Foundation. (More specifics as we are
notified...) Class of '21 Scholarship Total: $270,400!
3. Grades 6 & 3 may order pizza ($1.50) tomorrow for Wednesday.
4. Please remember to complete your Daily Health Survey on Option "C"
each school day morning for each child (on-site).
5. Pick-ups for OLC/PREP (Conf./Comm.) and school items are available
daily behind the Church in the Faculty Room until 5:30 P.M.
