1. Thank you parents/guardians for the cool attire of your kiddos that provided a sweet
touch of "greenery" to our day!
2. Speaking of attire, our Lenten Donation-Dress-Down-Day tomorrow will be for the
children, ages 4 to 14, with intellectual disabilities and developmental differences who
attend Our Lady of Confidence School. Also, Monday is "World Down Syndrome
Awareness Day" and Logan O.Neill, 8 month old brother of Reagan (7A) Caitlin, (5B) and
Quinn (2B) who has Down Syndrome will be the center of attention on Monday morning
when he and "Logan's Tribe" (family, neighbor, & school supporters) will be part of a
decorative balloon display at a couple of the school entrances. Pictures will be taken
and during the day, and teachers may bring their students to the display. Prior to the event, the teachers wil receive "21 Facts About Kids with Down Syndrome" to share
with students in an age appropriate manner. They will also be posted on the school
website. As to the attire on Monday it will be dress-down with a focus on mis-matched
or funky socks. Any families with a Down Syndrome child are invited to stop by the
balloon display.
3. Grades 8 & 1 may order pizza ($1.75) tomorrow for ther lunches on Monday.
4. Continue prayers for the people of the Ukraine and hope they will be with separated
loved ones soon and receive their basic needs. Humantarian crises should trump any
reluctance to intervene.
