1. The remaining students in our Communion Class will receive their First
Penance (Reconciliation) tonight at 7:00 P.M. in the Upper Church.
2. Tomorrow will be a St. Patrick's Donation-Dress-Dopwn-Day for our
missionary friend, Father Mike, who has three parishes in Malawi, Africa.
Recent floods have destroyed the homes, food supply and farms of his
people. Father has closed two school to offer shelter for the homeless and
they have a great need for food. Father sent the news report which I
forwarded to the teachers to show how dire their situatiuon is. They lack
the rescue resources we have for immediate assistance and a number of
lives have been lost. Donations of any amount tomorrow will be greatly
appreciated! TY!
3. Congratulations to the following students who are finalists in the
prestigious IHM Math Contest: Grade 8: Daniel Wang, Michael Eibel,
