1. Mrs. Ingersoll (Pre-K3B) will be taking some time (this year and into the
next) to be with her family. She will be genuinely missed and always close
to the heart of all at OLC who wish her and her family well. We will keep
them in our prayers. Miss Kimberly McKeown will be taking Mrs.
Ingersoll's class after giving her three-week notice to Kindercare at
Jefferson. She will be off Monday and spend the day here. Miss McKeown
is a Cabrini Graduate with ten years of Pre-School experience and other
impressive credentials which make her value-added. We warmly welcome
her to OLC! Until Miss McKeown begins, Mrs. Brennan will assist Mrs. Ryan
(present aide) with the class.
2. Miss Katelyn Rizzo (1D) will marry Mr. Daniel Capper at OLC today and our
thoughts and prayers are with them as we wish them many blessings and
much happiness! Mrs. Capper will return to school next Wednesday.
3. Father Babowitch will bless animals/pets in the basketball area of the
parking lot at 9:00 A.M. Saturday morning to honor St. Francis of Assisi.
4. Thank you for supporting our "Race for Education" by sending in the
addresses for our mailings this weekend. Students will have a dress-down
and ice cream treat next Friday in appreciation.
5. We are also grateful for the food items for Puerto Rico! We will be collecting
until next Friday.
6. Grades 7 & 2 may bring in orders for nuggets/fries ($2.75) & ice cream on
Monday for their lunches on Tuesday.
7. This morning at our First Friday Masses our students recited the Act of
Consecration to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal as we again placed
ourselves under her protection.
8. Have a relaxing weekend!
