1. At our First Friday Masses tomorrow, we will remember to pray for our
special intentions, including the repose of the soul of Mr. Joseph Allegra,
the husband of Chris Allegra, one of our faithful lunch moderators and
a substitute teacher for many years. (Funeral Mass at OLC at 11 A.M.
tomorrow.)
2. On Saturday, our First Holy Communion Masses will be at 9:30 A.M., 11:30,
and 1:30 P.M. to accommodate our 144 OLC full-time/part-time students.
Please remember them and their families in your prayers. TY!
3. This Sunday, Abbey Merrigan (8B) will be honored by the Connelly
Foundation along with students from across the Archdiocese who are this
year's Neumann Scholars. These students mastered the Neumann
Scholarship test and will have their full tuition paid to the Archdiocesan
High School of their choosing. Abbey will attend Archbishop Ryan. We
congratulate Abbey, and commend the support of her family and the
guidance of her teachers over the years. (Abbey is our 30th Neumann
Scholar since the beginning in 1995.)
4. Grades 7 & 2 may bring in orders for nuggets/fries ($2.75) & ice cream on
Monday for their lunches on Tuesday. Also, Brown Bag Express Orders
resume next week.
5. Tomorrow will be an appreciation dress-down-day for the donations
brought in during this season, especially for "Operation Rice Bowl."
Also, 4B's Easter Egg sale resulted in $300 being donated to Shriners' &
$300 to St. Jude's Hospitals! Well-Done, Mrs. Triner, 4B, & egg buyers!
