1. Mass will be live-streamed at 9:00 A.M. tomorrow (instead of 8) for the
feast of the Immaculate Conception, Patroness of the United States. 8th
Grade will attend and represent the school. We will be praying for our
special intentions, especially families coping with COVID.
2. Congratulations to Jacob Ruggiero (8B) who has been awarded the
Presidential Academic Scholarship to Father Judge High School $37,200
($9,300 annually). We commend Jacob, his loving and supportive parents,
and the teachers who have guided him through the years! Class of '21 total
is $454,100!
3. Grades 6 & 3 may order nuggets/fries ($3) tomorrow for their lunches on
Wednesday.
4. Students may continue wearing gym uniforms (easier laundering) or their
school uniforms, your choice.
5. 8th graders may request an application for this award, provided annually by the Connelly Foundation. Recipients usually receive 40% of the
tuition for an Archdiocesan High School, including Mercy Career &
Technical High School, and subject to review at the end of each school
year: Final General Average of 80 or above, no final grades below a 70 in
any academic subject, a final conduct average of 85 or above, and a
maximum of 10 absences and late arrivals. Applications are to be turned
in to the the school office by Friday, December 18th.
