1. Please pray for our special intentions, especially the brother-in-law of
Mrs. Amy McKenna (4A) who is critically ill.
2. Tomorrow evening at Archbishop Ryan, Ava Camarote, Ariana Galindez,
Megan Gribben, and Brendan Miller will receive their Josephine C. Connelly
Achievement Awards. These students will be receiving 40% of their high
school tuition the next 4 years provided they maintain good grades in
academics, conduct, and attendance (Ava & Megan - St. Hubert's) Arianna
and Brendan - Archbishop Ryan). We wish them the very best and continue
to be grateful to the Connelly Foundation for their generosity and support
of Catholic Education!
3. Grades 6 & 3 may bring in their orders for pizza ($1.25) and ice cream
tomorrow for their lunches on Wednesday.
4. Reminder: This is the last week for special classes. Next week is set up
for Scholar Dollar Day and there will be Primary Elections on Tuesday in
our gym.
Overheard: A teacher showed her preschool students a display of magnets
and explained their uses. Considering the lesson plan a success,
the teacher quizzed the class: "Who can guess what I am? My names starts with an M and I pick up things." The children
shouted "MOMMY!" Joe Claro, editor of Random House
