1. The Confirmation Ceremonies on Friday evening (Father Babowith) and
Saturday at 10 A.M. and 2 P.M. (Bishop Deliman) were inspirational,
reverent, and meaningful for our soon-to-be graduates, who conducted
themselves admirably. We appreciate the support of their parents,
guardians, and sponsors and commend Team OLC (Father Kirk, Deacons
Bell & Teson, School/Rectory staffs, Choir, Altar Servers, & Ushers) for
facilitating all ceremonies for Bishop Deliman and Father Babowitch. They
both delivered the spiritual "goods" necessary for our students to utilize
and enrich their souls for the years ahead.
2. The Presentation Mass at Noon yesterday for our Second Grade
Communion Class (Spring) was very well-attended and also inspirational
and meaningful. The parents/guardians of 2nd Graders & many with their
siblings, & well-behaved wee ones, were also in attendance. Team OLC
was up to speed and we appreciate the parishioners who gave up their
seats and took refuge in the choir loft. Father Babowitch, ever up-beat,
commented that "Now we know what Christmas will look like!" Once
again, vigilance prevented any eager 2nd Graders from receiving their First
Holy Communion at this time. (The few attempts were gently thwarted...)
3. Grades 7 & 2 may order nuggets/fries ($3) tomorrow for their lunches on
Tuesday.
4. Please pray for the repose of the soul of the cousin of Mrs. McKee's (8C)
husband, Dennis, who passed away last week.
