1. Thank you so very much for your cards and prayers for my mom. The
funeral Mass was this past Friday in Baltimore after two nights of
viewings. Father Babowitch attended the Thursday viewing and
concelebrated the Mass on Friday. It was so kind of him to do so and my
family and our home parishioners were very impressed that he took the
time to pray with us and comfort many, especially my 97 year old dad who
was able to sing "Let Me Call You Sweetheart" to my mom after both
viewings and at the cemetery...
2. This Sunday OLC celebrated its 60th anniversary with a special 3 P.M. Mass and concert with Bishop Maginnis as our guest celebrant along with
Fathers Babowitch, Kirk, & Milligan (guest) and Deacons Bell & Teson.
The Mass and concert were both inspiring and beautiful! Dinner followed,
was very flavorful, and we managed to sing "Happy Birthday" to Father
Babowitch. The students wrote him cards on Friday and anticipated his
celebration with a dress-down that day.
3. Grades 7 & 2 may bring in orders for nuggets/fries ($2.75) & ice cream
tomorrow for their lunches on Tuesday.
4. Students in the Confirmation Class who ordered robes will receive them
tomorrow.
5. Miss M. Kramer will begin March Madness this week. Those students who
are participating are to wear their gym uniforms and eat lunch in the gym
on the day of their game. They know who they are, I hope!
