1. A special word of gratitude to the families & Student Council Officers who were able to
participate in the special 9/11 Mass to honor our First Responders today and Mrs.
Julie Teson who arranged the specifics of the tribute. Father Babowitch spoke of how
important it is to show them how much we appreciate their service and pray for their
safety as they live to protect us each day! Father Babowitch also noted the support
and courage of the spouses & families of our First Responders and blessed a portrait
of his long-time friend, the late Corporal Jimmy O'Connor, given to the parish by his
widow. Children brought up red,white, & blue carnations in the Offertory Procession and
Father gave a special blessing to each group of First Responders in attendance and a
special holy card. Refreshments were provided after the Mass...
2. Grades PreK to 4 will have ther Religion Books and Backpack Blessing attachments
blessed tomorrow outdoors, weather permitting.
3. Student Council officers, representatives, and our Safety Patrol were installed on Friday
and are ready for active duty. We appreciate their willingness to use their talents to
provide service to their fellow students.
4. Grades 7 & 2 may order pizza ($2) tomorrow for their lunches on Tuesday.
5. Christmas Drive packets were sent home on Friday with the youngest and Pre-K will
receive them tomorrow.
6. We also remember in our prayers our beloved grandparents, both living and deceased.
